<details>
<summary>I've downloaded the Spordle App and logged in, but it doesn't contain any members. How can I add one?</summary>

The application synchronizes the information provided by various federations, such as Hockey Canada, Soccer Québec, Baseball Québec, Baseball Alberta and others. If you, your child or any other person in your care is a member of a federation that uses the Spordle product ecosystem, all you have to do is create a Spordle member profile and link it to the federation's member profile.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Open your **Account** (press your avatar at the right end of the upper red band).
2. ** **Press the gray bar in the **Members** section.
3. In the drawer that opens from the bottom, press **Add member.**
4. You have two options for finding the member you wish to add:
  1. by member number (of the federation)
  2. by first name, last name, date of birth and family relationship

> ⚠️ All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

> ℹ️ If the member does not appear, it is possible that the details have been entered incorrectly. It is also possible that the information officially entered in our files on behalf of the federation is not up to date.

It is possible that the system will display more than one profile. This may happen if a participant is involved in different sports under different federations. For privacy protection purposes, each federation profile is independent. The participant must be added separately for each sport.

There are four possibilities to link that profile to your account :

1. A Spordle account already holds this profile: your request will be e-mailed to the address associated with this account. This person will have to approve your request for access to the participant's profile. They will receive an email and they need to log in to their Spordle Account and go to “task” to approve this request. Please note that this “task” section is not in the Spordle App, it’s on myaccount.spordle.com.
2. No account is linked to this profile: it is possible that some contact details have nevertheless been entered by the federation. In this case, you'll need to choose an e-mail address or telephone number to send this contact a security code to enter into the application. If you are waiting for the code from another person, you can close the application and return later to complete the process. Please contact this person so they can give you the code.
3. Invitation by profile holder: a person who already has a Spordle account and access to a participant can go directly to the **Members** section of their application. After selecting a member, press **Invite someone** and enter their details.
4. A team staff member can also invite someone to have access to a participant on his or her team. It should be noted that this is a trusted member of the federation, in direct contact with parents and participants.

Please remember that Spordle sports profiles are official profiles of major sports federations. We take the protection of your data very seriously and have implemented rigorous security procedures.

<summary>I am not receiving notifications about changes to my child's game and practice schedule. How can I access them?</summary>

To receive notifications of changes to events (e.g., practice canceled, game postponed, etc.), tap each of the toggle buttons in the “Event” section of your “Notification Preferences.”

> ℹ️ **Profil → Spordle Account & Settings → Notification settings → Event**

You will receive notifications informing you of changes (cancelled or postponed games or practices) to the schedule of the team you are subscribed to.

<details>
<summary>What is the difference between Account, Member and Profile?</summary>

Here's a brief definition of each of these terms:

Account: this is your Spordle identity. It consists of an e-mail address, a password and some basic information to confirm your identity. It is this data that will be used in the application.

Member: These are the people linked to your account. For example, if you are the parent of two athletes, you have an account with two members. If you also participate in a sport, your account would have three members.

Profile: this is the identity of each participant in each sports federation. As federations are independent of each other, they don't share their data for security reasons. For example, your child may have a sports profile from Hockey Canada, and another profile from Baseball Alberta. It's the member who creates the link between the two profiles.

For example, a childless adult who only plays soccer will have one (1) account, one (1) member and one (1) profile. On the other hand, an adult who plays soccer, whose spouse plays baseball, whose child plays ball hockey and baseball and whose other child plays soccer and baseball will have one (1) account, four (4) members and six (6) profiles.
</details>

<details>
<summary>When I confirm the linking process to my child's profil, I am offered three options: Owner, Manager, or Follower. Which one should I choose?</summary>

Different account types (owner, manager, followers) can be linked to different **athlete profiles** (hockey, soccer, baseball, etc.) for the same member. Here is an example:

*A child plays hockey. He is considered a *<u>*member*</u>* of his mother's *<u>*account*</u>*, who is the ****Owner ****of his “hockey profile.” She can invite the child's father or accept a connection request from him to assign him the role of ****Manager**** of the sports profile in question. The father will then be able to invite any other family members, who will become ****Followers**** to the profile. In the future, when the child takes part in a game or joins a new team, the four people mentioned above will automatically have access to the information, without any further action required.*

**Owner**

The **exclusive owner of the sports profile** is referred to as the “**Owner**.” This is usually the person who first officially registered the player with the sports federation. Only **one** owner can be associated with a given profile. This person **holds all rights** to the profile. In the application, they can participate in live exchanges with *Premium* teams and manage attendance. The owner can be the participant themselves (if an adult) or one of their parents.

**Manager**

The **manager is the second person linked to the profile**. They have exactly the same rights as the owner, with one exception: they cannot delete the owner. The manager is usually the child's other parent.

**Follower**

This person creates an account solely **to follow** a sports profile. They have access to all games, training sessions, and other general information on the app, but cannot participate in *Premium* teams' live discussions or manage attendance. For example, a subscriber could be the child's grandfather or godmother.
</details>

<details>
<summary>The chat section is empty. It mentions a Premium service. What is it?</summary>

The Spordle App **enables teams to enhance** their experience for a modest annual fee. This enhanced service offers practical, innovative features and solutions, including chat between participants, attendance and a complete contact list.<span style="color: #ff5630"> </span>
</details>

<details>
<summary>Why do I need a Spordle account to use the application?</summary>

As the Spordle App is customizable, a Spordle account is essential for saving your favorites and linking your members to the app. This is how you'll be able to view team information and schedules.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Why don't the results of certain games appear in the application?</summary>

This is possible for the following reasons:

The game is over, but the result has not yet been entered into the Spordle Play platform. When this is done, the final score will appear in the application.

Some federations have decided not to make game results public in certain categories, notably to emphasize participation rather than the competitive aspect of the sport.

Similarly, a league or tournament may adopt the practice of not displaying the official results of certain match-ups, e.g. exhibition games
</details>

<details>
<summary>I participate in a sports team and would like to use the application. Unfortunately, my team doesn't belong to a federation that subscribes to Spordle's management platforms. Can I still use the application?</summary>

The Spordle App is intended only for official, federation-approved teams that do business with Spordle. Only the participants of these teams (parents, families, friends, coaches, staff, etc.) will have access to the up-to-date, real-time content guaranteed by Spordle.

It is therefore impossible for a team to subscribe to the Spordle App service alone.

The following federations use the Spordle ecosystem of products:

Hockey Canada

Ball Hockey Canada

Soccer Québec

Baseball Québec

Baseball Alberta

Volleyball Québec
</details>

<details>
<summary>Some or all of my team's events are not displayed in the app. What can I do?</summary>

In this case, a team member can create events. To do so, he or she must go to the general calendar or to the Team Schedules section to create an event.

This option is also available for teams whose games and practices are registered in the Spordle Play platform, but who also want to create other events there, such as gym sessions, team meetings or outings to restaurants.
</details>

<details>
<summary>My child's grandparents would like to have access to the content published by his team. What should they do?</summary>

They can download the application, create an account, link up with a member (the child), or wait to receive an invitation from you to do so.

When you approve or invite them, choose the **“Follower”** link type to connect their account to your child. Followers can view all future schedules, but they do not have permission to manage the profile like a profile owner.
</details>

<details>
<summary>How can a coach cancel a game in the application?</summary>

The strength of the Spordle App lies in the fact that it contains official game information, supplied by the leagues and entered into the management platform.

Any game postponements, cancellations, changes of schedule or venue are automatically synchronized in the app, with notifications sent to those involved.
</details>

<details>
<summary>All my team's games are displayed in the application, but not its practices. Why not?</summary>

In the Spordle Play platform, leagues and tournaments are responsible for creating games, while associations are responsible for scheduling practices. If these tasks are carried out correctly in the Spordle Play platform, the information will appear in your Spordle App.

Nevertheless, some associations continue to create their practices in other platforms or Excel files. In such cases, they will not automatically appear in the application.

Team staff will then have to manually enter each of their practices in the Calendar section of the application.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Why is my favorites section already filled?</summary>

We automatically display a list of favorites based on the teams associated with your members. They give you easy access to websites of associations, leagues and tournaments that may be of interest to you.

You can add or remove favorites at any time.
</details>

<details>
<summary>There are no teams in the current season. Only last year's team appears in the application. Why is this?</summary>

Your member has not been officially registered in a team. Although you know the team's composition, it may not yet have been created in the platform by the organization.

As soon as the team is created and participants added, it will appear in your application.
</details>

<details>
<summary>I don't play any sports, on any team, but I'd like to download the app to follow a league's activities. Is this possible?</summary>

Unfortunately, this is not the case. The Spordle App is a collaborative tool for team members and their families to manage their sports activities.

You can still download the app and add the league of your choice to your favorites. It will be a simple shortcut to the league's website.
</details>

<details>
<summary>I'm an offical (or scorekeeper). I can see my games in the application, but I can't distinguish them from the games I'm taking part in as a player. What can I do?</summary>

In a future version of the app, officials and scorekeepers will be able to accept assignments directly in the Spordle App. They will receive notifications to this effect.

As for the display, the “Attendance” section of each game will show the official's assigned position (e.g., linesman, plate umpire, etc.).
</details>

<details>
<summary>The team logo displayed in my app is not up to date. How can I change it?</summary>

Neither the participant nor any member of the team staff is authorized to modify the official information. The association that created the team is responsible for renaming it or changing its logo in Spordle ID/HCR.

Please note that the team names displayed in the Spordle App are the “short names” entered in Spordle ID/HCR.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Why can't I view all my members' events in the calendar?</summary>

In the calendar, you have to choose the member in the top right-hand corner to see these events.

Only in the “Featured” dashboard can all events be viewed together. It should be noted, however, that this panel cannot display more than 10 events.
</details>

<details>
<summary>Can I export all my events to my phone's calendar (Ical, Google, Android)?</summary>
